Multilingual Support

Multilingual Support

vGuest automatically detects a guest's language and responds accordingly. Your staff writes the knowledge base in one language — the AI handles translation.

How it works

  1. A guest sends a message in French
  2. vGuest detects the language automatically
  3. The AI responds in French, using information from your knowledge base
  4. The conversation continues in French throughout

No configuration needed — it works out of the box.

Supported languages

vGuest supports communication in virtually any language, including:

  • English
  • Hebrew
  • French
  • German
  • Spanish
  • Greek
  • Arabic
  • Russian
  • Italian
  • Portuguese
  • Chinese
  • Japanese
  • And many more

What your team sees

In the dashboard, your team sees:

  • The original message in the guest's language
  • All messages displayed in the conversation timeline
  • Your team can respond in any language — the AI adapts

Tips for multilingual properties

  • Write your knowledge base in your team's strongest language — The AI translates accurately
  • Include local terms in the original language — For restaurant names, dish names, or landmarks, include the original alongside translations
  • Test in key languages — Use the simulator to verify responses in languages your guests commonly use
  • Consider cultural context — The AI adapts tone based on language and cultural norms

Language-specific workflows

You can create automated workflows that target guests by their preferred language. For example:

  • Send a Hebrew welcome message to Israeli guests
  • Send a Russian guide to local attractions for Russian-speaking guests
  • Customize checkout instructions by language
